We have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespect, bullying or harassment. You will be immediately removed from Kitty Krew if you are found to be seriously disrespecting someone. We reserve the right to remove any member, at any time, for any reason.
A member may NOT steal money or wishlist items from another person in any way! Even if you call it a "donation!" NEVER!! If you are thinking about collecting donations for a shelter, you can contact us and we will point you in the right direction.
All members should make a good-faith attempt to wear some form of cat garb during shelter volunteering and events in order to show their Kitty Krew affiliation and pride (ex., cat-ear headband, cat t-shirt, costume tail, drawn-on whiskers, etc.). (Don't have any? Notify us.)
It is highly recommended that members actively participate in fundraisers, events and other activities as outlined in our email newsletters, and donate what they can to an animal shelter of their choosing when they're able. (Otherwise, what the heck are you here for?)
All members should utilize a handle (nickname/alias). A cat pun is recommended. (Need ideas? Click here.) You may not use a handle of an executive member. Kitty Krew's executive members and their handles are listed on our About page.
It is recommended that members promote us via posters, spoken word or media.
Additional regulations may be introduced as needed, so please check back periodically.
IMPORTANT: You are not required to wear any cat garb. You can still be a member without wearing cat ears, etc. That's the beauty of Kitty Krew; we don't force anything. Our group is against hazing and bullying. If you are being bullied, please tell a trusted authority figure.
